One to two years of experience working as in IT Support. Performs a variety of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and/or software. Under general supervision, this position may require collaboration with technical and managerial staff. Work methods and/or sequence of work is governed by oral/written instructions and established procedures.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Support network refresh project, to include physically unracking of network components and installation of new replacement equipment.
• Support after-hour network change control maintenance windows as needed.
• Assist with other network personnel to maintain well organized network equipment storage areas.
• Assist with network equipment RMA activities as needed.
• Backup support for Moves, Adds and Changes as needed.
• Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.). Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops).
• Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
• Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Demonstrates excellent Customer Service

Previous experience in IT or other related fields Fundamental knowledge of networking, hardware, and software.

CCNA or CCENT a plus

Physical capabilities to include lifting up to 70 lbs.

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Deadline and detail oriented.
